Step 3: Review Skill Details

Before acquiring a Skill, make sure it's exactly what you need. Each Skill listing will include important information about its functionality, pricing, and usage.

What to Check:

  1. Skill Description: Understand what the Skill does and how it can help you.
  2. Creator Information: Learn about the creator or developer behind the Skill.
  3. Price: Check the price of the Skill and ensure you have enough funds in your wallet to cover it.
  4. Usage Terms: Look for any restrictions, such as usage limits or time-based access.
  5. Token Type: Skills are sold as either License Tokens (ERC-1155) or Fork NFTs (ERC-721). Make sure you understand the type of token you're acquiring and what it grants you.

  2. Confirm Price and Terms: Double-check the price and usage terms before proceeding with the transaction.

  4. Wait for Confirmation: Once the transaction is confirmed, the Skill Token will be sent to your wallet.

Step 5: Access Your Skill

  3. If the Skill is encrypted, you'll need to sign a message to verify your ownership and decrypt the content.
  4. Once decrypted, you can start using the Skill in your workflow, integrate it with your projects, or interact with it through your AI system.

Step 6: Stay Updated

After acquiring a Skill, keep an eye on any updates or new versions that the creator may release. Some Skills may be updated over time to improve functionality or add new features.

How to Stay Updated:

  1. Check the Skill's page for updates from the creator.
  2. Review the creator's profile to see other Skills or updates they may have published.
  3. Be aware of any notifications you might receive regarding changes or new releases.

Additional Tips:

  • Wallet Security: Always ensure that you use a secure and trusted wallet. Never share your private keys or recovery phrases with anyone.
  • Transaction Fees: When acquiring Skills, remember that gas fees (transaction fees) are required for blockchain operations. These vary depending on the chain used (Ethereum, BSC, etc.).
  • Refunds and Exchanges: Skills are generally non-refundable. Make sure to review the Skill description and creator terms before making a purchase. If issues arise, you can contact the creator directly for support.
