Register on Luma, join Discord, build on event day (start 11:00 AM). Teams up to 4, solo OK. Submit on the official platform with a public GitHub repo + demo video before the deadline. FinChip sponsors gas on Base for verified participants who submit through the official event page.

01Registration

How to enter the hackathon and get checked in.

  • All participants must register through Luma and present a valid Luma ticket at check-in.

    Participants are required to join the official Discord channel and register on the official project submission platform.

02Team size

How many builders can ship together.

  • Teams may have up to 4 members. Solo participation is also allowed.

    Participants may form teams before the event or through the official Discord team formation channel.

03Project development

When you can start coding and what tools you can use.

  • Hacking begins at 11:00 AM. All projects must be initiated and developed from scratch on the day of the hackathon.

    External development tools such as Claude, Codex, and other AI coding assistants are allowed.

04Sponsor tools & tracks

How to qualify for sponsor-specific prizes.

    Participants are encouraged to use sponsor-provided tools and platforms.

    To be eligible for sponsor-specific challenges or prizes, teams must follow the mandatory tool and track requirements announced during the event.

05Submission

What every submission must include.

  • All projects must be submitted through the official submission platform before the deadline.

    Each submission must include a project name, project description, demo video link, public GitHub repository link, selected track(s), sponsor tool(s) used, and team member information.

06GitHub & demo video

Code and video are both required artifacts.

  • All project source code must be hosted in a publicly accessible GitHub repository.

    Each team must submit a demo video showing the project’s functionality, features, and overall solution.

07Late or incomplete submissions

What disqualifies a submission from judging.

    Late, incomplete, inaccurate, or non-compliant submissions may not be considered for judging or prize eligibility.

08Judging criteria

How projects are evaluated.

    Projects will be evaluated based on innovation, technical execution, usability, impact, implementation, and presentation.

09Winner selection

Who decides the winners.

    Winners will be selected based on judges’ scores and discussion.

    Each sponsor may select winners for their own track based on sponsor-specific criteria.

10Updates & clarifications

Where rule changes are announced.

    Any updates, clarifications, or changes to submission requirements will be communicated through Discord and on-site announcements.

11FinChip fine print

Gas sponsorship scope, file limits, and abuse policy specific to the FinChip platform.

  • Only registered hackathon participants are eligible for FinChip gas sponsorship.

  • Gas sponsorship only applies to submissions made through the official hackathon event page.

  • FinChip-sponsored submissions will be published to Base by default.

    Each participant or team may receive limited sponsored publishing attempts to prevent abuse.

    File size and upload limits apply. Large or abusive uploads may be rejected.

    Projects containing spam, malicious code, illegal content, copyrighted materials without permission, or irrelevant files may be removed from submission and prize eligibility.

  • ×

    FinChip reserves the right to review, reject, or remove submissions that abuse gas sponsorship, IPFS storage, or the event submission system.
